Intervals — Abstract Mixed Media Artwork (Framed)
This mixed-media abstract artwork was acquired from a private American collector who released a lifetime collection without restoration. Each piece from this collection is presented exactly as found, preserving its material history and surface integrity.
The composition is structured around divided fields of layered pigment, texture, and transfer. Subtle geometric separations and tonal contrasts suggest thresholds, architectural spaces, and moments of quiet transition. The surface carries traces of time—scratches, faded marks, and layered residue—creating a dialogue between presence and absence.
Minor dust particles and age-related surface irregularities are visible within the work. These are not defects, but authentic signs of age and storage. Griha Sajja does not clean, restore, or alter collected artworks, choosing instead to honour their original condition.
The artwork is presented in a substantial stainless steel frame with heavy front glass, adding both physical presence and long-term protection. This piece rewards slow viewing and works best when allowed visual breathing space.
